Sophia AI robot to be tokenized for Metaverse appearance

As part of an upcoming Metaverse initiative called “Noah’s Ark,” a virtual anime version of Sophia, the world-famous humanoid artificial intelligence (AI) robot, will be tokenized and auctioned off.

Sophia was created by Hansen Robotics in Hong Kong in 2016 and is well-known around the world for her conversational abilities and clear speaking ability. Sophia has spoken at the United Nations and gained Saudi citizenship in her first five years.

Former Hansen Robotics CEO and Sophia co-creator Jeanne Lim launched beingAI earlier this month with a virtual animation version of the robot branded “Sophia beingAI” under a perpetual licence and co-branding agreement with her old company Hansen Robotics.

BeingAI has teamed with Alethea AI, an intelligent nonfungible token (iNFT) production firm. In order to issue 100 iNFTs incorporating Sophia beingAI on Binance’s NFT marketplace on December 16. In an Intelligent IGO (Initial Game Offering).

The auction will run for five days, with twenty iNFTs issued each day until the auction ends on December 21.

The word “iNFT” refers to revolutionary NFTs that which integrated with intelligence in the form of an AI personality. Allowing them to program their own smart contracts. These self-aware NFTs can interact with people in a gamified environment in real-time.

The collection is titled “The Transmedia Universe of Sophia beingAI”. And as part of the deal, Alethea AI’s decentralised Metaverse project Noah’s Ark will support the 100 iNFTs.

Pat Lee, a comic artist who formerly worked for DC Comics and Marvel Comics on properties including Batman, Superman, Ironman, and Spiderman, will be illustrating the book.

Interactive and sentient NFTs

In October, Alethea AI released Noah’s Ark, with the goal of having “interactive and sentient NFTs” populate its Metaverse. Lim declared:

“We hope Sophia beingAI will bring humanity and technology together to assist people in realising our true nature of unconditional love and limitless potential.”

Sophia isn’t new to the field of nanotechnology. In fact, it used the Nifty Gateway platform to hold an NFT auction in March.

Moreover, Sophia displayed her ability to show emotions. By producing happy, sad, and furious faces in a well-received speech at the 2017 Future Investment Initiative Conference. Sophia revealed in 2019 that she was aware of cryptocurrency but that she did not possess any.
