Former First Lady Melania Trump congratulates Bitcoin on 13th birthday

Melania Trump, the former First Lady of the United States, gave a shout-out to Bitcoin (BTC) on Twitter shortly after establishing her own nonfungible token (NFT) project last month.

Moreover, Melania wished Bitcoin a happy birthday on Monday. On M., the world’s largest cryptocurrency celebrated its 13th birthday.

“It is commonly believable that Bitcoin’s market cap exceeds $1 trillion,” stated the former First Lady.

According to CoinGecko data, BTC’s market capitalization is just over $880 billion at the time of writing. Its market worth last surpassed $1 trillion in early December of the previous year.

At the time of writing, the post had over 30,000 likes and 8,000 retweets.

Many in the cryptocurrency world, including Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano, speculated that Mrs. Trump might be a “Bitcoiner” or be part of the BTC sector as a result.

On the other hand, others pointed to Mrs. Trump’s husband, former US President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly attacked Bitcoin in recent years, calling it a “scam” and claiming that it counts on “thin air”.

Besides, one Twitter user remarked, “This is a really cryptic divorce announcement, props.”

In mid-December 2021, the former First Lady formally announced her NFT platform, releasing her first digital collectible, “Melania’s Vision”. The NFT auction ended on Friday, according to Melania’s official website, and it took place on the Solana blockchain.
