The Ertha Metaverse blockchain gaming project based on Binance Smart Chain has attracted funding of $5.4 million.

Thus, LD Capital, Polygon Syndicate, OKEx Blockdream Ventures, GD10, Genblock Capital, Shima Capital, Dialectic; Momentum 6, X21, Zen Capital, Terranova, AU21 and many others provided investments.

The startup also conducted an initial DEX offering (IDO) on Seedify, GameFi and RedKite platforms. According to the statement, the tokens were sold out “in minutes”.

Giving players the opportunity to earn money

“We have no hesitation to invest in Ertha after first call with Ertha team. They have proven track record in both gaming and crypto industries,” said LD Capital partner – Xi.

The tokenomics of the project’s metaverse gives players the opportunity to earn money by owning and trading virtual land plots. They are selling in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT) called HEX. Moreover, the startup announced more than 7,500 realized plots.

Ertha also has over 70,000 Twitter followers and 50,000 Discord chat participants.

In recent months, there has been a surge in interest in the metaverse, an environment created by the merging of virtual worlds, augmented reality, and internet services.

The annual income of the Web 3.0 metaverse sector may reach $1 trillion in the near future, according to the forecast of Grayscale Investment specialists. Researchers David Grider and Matt Maximo emphasized that metaverse platforms integrated with cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFT services, decentralized management and cloud storage have created new online opportunities that attract users.

According to analysts, since 2020, the number of active wallets in the metaverse has increased 10-fold and approached 50,000 in June 2021.
