Chiliz (CHZ) gains 170% after launching live in-game NFTs

The professional club of the US National Football League (NFL), New England Patriots, has announced cooperation with the blockchain company Chiliz, the operator of the platform Socios.com for issuing tokens of sports and entertainment clubs and organizations.

According to the press release, the companies have also entered into cooperation with the New England Revolution club of the US Professional Football League.

“We look forward to partnering with the Patriots and Revolution to increase their fan engagement as we continue our surge into the US sports industry,” said the CEO of Socios.com Alexandre Dreyfus.

Growing power

Thus, the platform uses blockchain technology to issue fan tokens, collectibles and other digital assets for sports organizations. Socios.com cooperates with more than 100 teams, including Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Barcelona, PSG, Juventus; Manchester City, Inter, Arsenal, Argentina and Portugal national football teams and others.

According to TradingView data, the price of CHZ has risen 171%. From hitting a low of $0.243 on September 29 to a daily high of $0.657 on October 31. Also, recent developments are pushing the price back towards the swing high.

The launch of live gaming non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and stock listings has contributed to CHZ’s growing power. As well as recently released fan tokens – they are rapidly expanding the ecosystem of protocol partners.

In 2018, Paris Saint-Germain launched a collaboration with Socios.com, which has proven to be productive. Therefore, in early 2020, Chiliz, the world’s top sports; and entertainment fintech blockchain service provider, introduced the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Token.

Recall that previously in May, a crypto platform agreed on sponsorship and the release of thematic NFTs with Formula 1. Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo became the first two teams to sign an agreement with Socios.com and Chiliz and issue their own fan tokens. The payment platform has received advertising slots at all events of the 2021 season. Including the races of the new format of sprint qualifications.

In the same month, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) launched fan tokens on Chiliz. In addition, the $UFC Fan Token was released in June on Socios.com and has a maximum lifetime supply of 20 million.
