Burger King Launches ‘Keep It Real Meals’ NFT Campaign with Digital Collectibles Market Sweet. In fact, Burger King, a fast-food restaurant business, said on Tuesday that it has started a non-fungible token (NFT) campaign dubbed “Keep It Real Meals”. The ad will include celebrities such as Nelly, Anitta, and LILHUDDY. And will be produced in conjunction with the NFT marketplace Sweet.

Six Million Meal Boxes with Burger King NFTs

On Tuesday, the NFT marketplace Sweet announced a collaboration with fast food behemoth Burger King. Burger King has joined the NFT fight, and its new campaign is unlike any previous NFT concept. QR codes will be attached to almost six million Burger King meal boxes as part of the company’s “Keep It Real Meals” campaign. According to Burger King’s release, scanning the QR codes will unlock a digital collectable, and “gathering them can lead to earning additional NFTs”.

Three celebrities will appear in the campaign. LILHUDDY, a popular American social media figure, Anitta, a Brazilian singer, and Nelly, a rapper, singer-songwriter, and entrepreneur from the US. Some of the attainable extras include unique features. Such as the ability to speak with one of the campaign’s celebrities over the phone.

Well-known brands dabble with NFT and crypto markets

“While supplies last, guests may select from three Keep It Real Meal boxes curated by Nelly, Anitta, and LILHUDDY, available at participating U.S. Burger King restaurants,” according to the statement. “Guests will get one of three versions on one of three collectable NFT game pieces when they scan a QR code on an artist’s Real Meal box. When guests have gathered the same variant of each collectable NFT game component, they have completed the artist’s set”.

The announcement elaborated:

“Once a set is completed, customers will receive a 4th reward-based NFT. Which can include 3D BK digital artefacts, a year of Whopper sandwiches, autographed stuff. Or even a chat with one of the artists.”

Burger King is just one of several well-known brands that have dabbled with the NFT and cryptocurrency markets in general. Oscar Mayer, Snickers, Milky Way, Axe Body Spray, Arizona Iced Tea. And others have been dabbling in the blockchain debate and experimenting with various concepts.
